Through my work at Dynamic Periodontics and Implants, I have successfully treated thousands of clients suffering from severe gum disease, significantly enhancing their quality of life and confidence in their dental health. Gum Disease
Periodontitis, commonly known as gum disease, occurs when plaque accumulates around the gum line. If left untreated, it can progress below the gum line. The body recognises it as an infection, triggering defensive responses that cause swollen, bleeding, or tender gums. Without intervention, this infection can lead to bone loss around the affected tooth, resulting in tooth instability and eventual loss. This, in turn, affects one's ability to fully enjoy food. A similar condition around dental implants is called peri-implantitis, or implant disease, which affects the area around implants in much the same way as gum disease.

In this remarkable case, our client battled gum disease for years, losing multiple teeth along the way. Through our collaborative efforts, we not only salvaged the remaining teeth but restored full functionality, allowing him to savour life to the fullest!

Dental Implants
Dental implants are a familiar concept to most, thanks to technological progress. They are now crafted from either titanium or zirconia, offering versatile solutions for tooth replacement. These implants, akin to miniature screws spanning from 6mm to 12mm, are surgically inserted into the jawbone at the site of missing teeth. After a healing period, during which the bone integrates with the implants, they are restored with crowns or bridges. Alternatively, they can provide support for dentures, particularly in cases of extensive tooth loss.

In the fascinating scenario described, our client endured the absence of their lower right 1st molar for over half a decade, lamenting a weakened chewing ability on that side. Leveraging our expertise, I skillfully implanted a solution, restoring her confidence and enabling her to chew with newfound strength on the previously affected side.

This client presented with significant gum recession affecting a lower front tooth due to aggressive brushing and a high lip muslce aattachment. I performed a free gingival graft using tissue from the patient’s palate to restore coverage over the exposed root, achieving a successful outcome.
